Regular home cleaning questions:
Do you move & wipe under counter top appliances?
Do you wipe/clean the front of appliances?
Do you move furniture & sweep & mop under it?
Do you prefer your customers to write out their requests of Regular cleaning requests?
Great questions, thanks for posting! We discuss all of these things specific to client. We do the best we can to get behind and underneath large items when possible. I am happy to move lighter items to vacuum and mop underneath (things like barstools and ottomans, etc) but not larger items like couches although our vacuum attachments do a great job under beds and behind bulky furniture. Our priority is to prevent damage to delicate flooring (if that applies) Sometimes if a client would like us to clean under heavy furniture or delicate items, we can ask the client to move these items or sign a waiver for potential damages. Same with small kitchen appliances we do move, and clean underneath these items each time. We will move the large appliances, like refrigerator, stove during a deep cleaning or Moveout cleaning. Typically this type of thing isn't necessary for maintenance cleanings. If a client has an extremely cluttered area like kitchen or bathroom counters it may factor in the price, we want to do the job thoroughly each time. For my clients we do an initial deep cleaning the first time and then moving forward the maintenance cleaning takes less time, and all "deep cleaning" tasks are rotated out specific to the client- I allow 30 minutes for each client and use that time for random task- like baseboards, blinds, windowsills, high dusting. I stay away from lists because each client is unique. Some have pets, small kids, and may need more attention to places other clients dont. This way, when you sign up for a maintenance cleaning, these areas are kept clean but not done every time. Thanks for posting in our forum! Hope this helps
